Are British troops gonna remain in Iraq with us Americans?
Good, no Great allies you guys are. But after reading a few latest news reports online that you Brits are withdrawing from Iraq by middle 09, I'm wondering if that is somewhat likely happen? Most people are opposed to the war, correct? What is Gordon Brown's position on Iraq? Blair wanted a full withdrawal by mid 08 and that was in early 2007. And that has changed quite a bit. Do you think all troops will be gone within a year or will some military trainers remain or what? Are the current troops in Iraq meant to appease the trans-Atlantic relationship or is it a solid commitment to Iraq or is Gordon Brown out of ideas regarding Iraq?

We can't afford to fight a war in Iraq and Afghanistan...else we haven't got enough of the right equipment to go around. Hopefully they'll pull them out of Iraq and fight in Afghanistan against the Taliban.
