Yes it takes courage to stand up and speak, but does it also takes courage to sit down and listen?

Standing up and speaking is usually a reaction triggered by something else, and I'd say listening is implied. Sitting down and doing nothing, instead...well, I'd say it's the antithesis of courage. But of course, I suppose it depends on the situation. The line between courage and utter stupidity is sometimes quite a thin one.

Yes I believe it does, sometimes we don't always want to listen, especially if we don't like what we are hearing. And I would say too, that it depends on the circumstances.

Listening is an art that not everyone has. It takes more courage to just sit still and listen then to speak.

I think it takes a different kinda courage to stand up n speak than to sit down n listen
