Curious things happening in gardens or parks...
Ever in noticed something strange or amazing happening right in front of your eyes? To do with insects, animals, weather etc...
(No naughty or nudist funnies please).
This summer as I sat reading under a tree I first heard a strange fluttering above my head. Looking up I saw two of these big white/blue butterflies attacking each other mid-air. It was like watching two opponents in a renaissance sword fight...

I saw something funny some years ago, we have a lot of forest and lakes here. At a walking area there close to one of the lakes there were like billions of tiny tiny toads crossing the road, it was almost impossible to walk through without hurting any of them, we really had to step on our toes to get through. Why the heck did ALL the tiny toads try to cross the road at the same time? There must have been tens of thousands of them.

I think the most amazing thing I have seen and I love to watch are hummingbirds, especially when they are right in front of a window. So tiny, and moving so quickly, I am amazed eveytime I see them.
