Hi - I would love to live in a huge spooky old gothic looking castle in the midle of mist enshrouded marsh lands, inhabited at night by other-wordly creatures....

don't know why, but I do...

Hmm not like you described actually. I'd like to live in a nice house, not too big, near a big city. Just not in a big city I think.

I'd like to live in a house, two storey and in a very quiet street... I hate noisy streets!

femaledimanad | 21 November 2007 - 9:51am

a posh villa or a flat with a modern interior design:-)

femalelucky__me | 26 December 2007 - 9:42pm

I have two ideas.

I would like to have my own house with a garden with apple trees and flowers. I would have fishes and cats. But I don't think my dream job can be put together with living in this dream home. So I guess I will have different place to live Smile

femaleLady Justice | 24 May 2008 - 1:21pm

Those huge spooky old gothic looking castle is my dream, too.
But now to be more realistic, I prefer a small flat with a large balcony.

In the same city where I live now (Florence), but in a flat on Lungarno Guicciardini.

maleJohsky | 19 September 2008 - 1:13pm

It is all a matter of degrees and we all seem to be more or less on the same sheet of music with that one. Somewhere where isnt too hectic and loud but not too far away from a cultural gathering.
Due to my dichotomic nature I cant decide either. During some times I would love a loft on Manhatten island overlooking Central Park (yes, megalomaniac, I know), during most others a log cabin made of wood and stone somewhere far away from everything in New Zealand or Norway, it could even be a small castle at a forgotten Loch in Scotland XD (haunted or not, I dont care Razz).
It is quite OK where I am now. Smaller city in walking distance (about three miles or 5 kms) to the south, major city within 30 mins on the train to the north, woods to go hiking and biking in and plenty of lakes to swim to the east and the west.
However, I agree, it is important to have friends close by.

malejoby | 23 September 2008 - 1:07am

If I could afford it, I would like the Dakota building in NYC during winter. For summer, I have to stick with my WV homestead.

femaledimanad | 24 September 2008 - 6:16pm

hm manhattan 79th east :-)

maleaguila | 24 September 2008 - 10:02pm

A small cottage at a topical beach, far away from everyone.
